Heartfelt

Making single blocks that can be printed to create a pattern is a truly satisfying experience. It is deeply gratifying to take a piece of white cotton fabric and then, two inches at a time, create something completely new and different. These patterns were all created from hand carved blocks which were stamped with various colors of ink. The inconsistencies in color and alignment are what make the patterns look nostalgic and hand printed.
